SurfWG Cancellation & Payment Policy
A 50% down payment is required to confirm your booking. Your booking is only confirmed once the down payment has been received by SurfWG.
The remaining 50% is payable before arrival or on arrival, as confirmed by SurfWG.
All bank charges, transfer fees, payment provider fees, currency conversion fees, and any other transaction-related costs are the responsibility of the guest.
If a refund is approved under this policy, SurfWG will refund the eligible amount minus any bank charges, transfer fees, payment provider fees, currency conversion fees, or other transaction-related costs that were incurred in receiving or returning the payment.
Cancellation by Guest
If you cancel more than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date, your 50% down payment is refundable, minus any bank charges, transfer fees, payment provider fees, currency conversion fees, or other transaction-related costs.
If you cancel 15–30 days before your scheduled arrival date, your 50% down payment is non-refundable. Booking credit for a future stay may be possible at SurfWG’s discretion, subject to availability.
If you cancel 14 days or less before your scheduled arrival date, your 50% down payment is non-refundable and no booking credit is offered.
Booking Credit
If booking credit is approved by SurfWG, the credit can only be used for a future stay at SurfWG and is subject to availability.
Booking credit is not refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred to another person unless approved by SurfWG in writing.
Booking credit must be used within 12 months from the original scheduled arrival date, unless SurfWG confirms otherwise in writing.
Price differences may apply if the new booking dates, room type, package, or season have a higher rate than the original booking.
No-Show and Early Departure
If you do not arrive for your booking without prior written notice, this is considered a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable.
If you leave earlier than your confirmed departure date, unused nights, surf sessions, services, packages, or other included items are non-refundable.
Changes to Booking Dates
Requests to change booking dates are subject to availability and approval by SurfWG.
Date changes requested 15 days or more before arrival may be possible, subject to availability and any applicable price difference.
Date changes requested 14 days or less before arrival are not guaranteed and may be treated as a cancellation under this policy.
SurfWG-Initiated Changes or Cancellations
If SurfWG must cancel a confirmed booking due to operational reasons, SurfWG will offer either a refund of payments received or booking credit for a future stay.
SurfWG is not responsible for additional costs incurred by the guest, including but not limited to flights, transport, travel insurance, visa costs, or other travel-related expenses.
Travel Insurance
Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance.
SurfWG strongly recommends that guests have travel insurance covering cancellations, delays, illness, injury, flight changes, and other unexpected travel disruptions.
