On the tropical island of Bali you’ll have 28 degrees – all year long. The ocean is as warm as the air! Impressive landscapes, rice terraces and the magical cultural landscape of Bali will quickly fascinate you. For surfers, Bali is THE paradise – incredible wave diversity and surf spots for every surfing level!

The SurfWG is located amidst rice fields in the village of Berawa, next to famous Canggu. A lovingly maintained campsite with tropical gardens and a stunning mix of Balinese and Western architecture – you will simply love it.

Compared to many others surf camps in Canggu, SurfWG is super cozy and has that special “family feeling”. Our goal was always to make each guest feel welcome and feel home.

If you need time for yourself – no worries! The surf camp offers enough space to retreat and relax. Or enjoy the social gatherings with other guests.  It’s up to you! The big pool with bar in the middle of the camp is the center of the surfer life style. Everything harmoniously fits into the tropical garden – that’s real Bali feeling at it’s finest.

The birth of SurfWG…

SurfWG started as a loose idea between two surfers who spent every day of their holiday on a board. Nothing more than a slightly crazy vision.

Then the idea grew: to create a kind of shared home for surfers in Bali. A place where like-minded board enthusiasts could meet, stay together, surf together, and enjoy a good time.

That is how SurfWG was founded in 2011. Since then, our surf camp in Canggu has remained a unique getaway — built around surfing, community, and the easy Bali feeling we fell in love with.

At the beginning, we never imagined that our project would grow into what it is today.

Many of our guests became friends and return to SurfWG again and again. Some discovered their love for surfing with us what changedtheir life for good — and that is exactly what we always hoped tho share.

In the lounge area of the surf camp, you can relax with the other guests over tropical juices, fresh coconut, or a cold beer before heading back into the waves the next day.
