Surf Every Day in Bali — With Guidance That Matches Your Level

Looking for surf coaching in Bali and a place to stay?

SurfWG combines daily surf guidance with surf camp life. You surf every day, improve with support from our local surf team, stay at the camp and meet other travellers who are here for the same reason: surfing, Bali, and good people.

Whether you are completely new to surfing or already have some experience, the surf team helps you join sessions that match your level and the daily conditions.

Surfing in Bali is about more than lessons. It is about rhythm, ocean time, shared surf sessions, and learning step by step in a place where surfing is part of daily life.

Surf lessons and surf guiding are included: Surf & Stay

Suitable for beginner to advanced surfers

Bali offers many different surf spots, from easier beach breaks to more challenging reef breaks. At SurfWG, our local surf team creates the surf plan based on your surf level and the daily ocean conditions.

Whether you are a complete beginner, already progressing, intermediate, or advanced, the goal is to place you in sessions that match your ability and the conditions of the day.

For absolute beginners, SurfWG includes a 3-day beginner course with theory and practice. This gives you the basic foundation you need before joining suitable regular surf sessions at the camp.

SurfWG is not only a place to stay. It is a surf camp where daily surf guidance, local surf knowledge, and camp life come together.

2 surf sessions per day — every day

SurfWG organizes two guided surf sessions per day, seven days a week, whenever conditions allow.

Each day, the local surf team checks the tide, swell, wind, crowd situation, and safety conditions before deciding where and when the sessions take place. The surf plan is created by the team because they know the beaches, the waves, and the changing conditions best.

Groups are arranged according to surf level, so beginners, progressing surfers, intermediate surfers, and advanced surfers can join sessions that match their ability.

Before entering the water, the surf guides explain the spot, the conditions, and what to pay attention to. They join the group in the water and give practical guidance during the session.

Surfing in Bali changes every day. Some days are small and easy, some days are more powerful, and some days require a different plan. That is why the daily surf plan is based on real ocean conditions, not fixed promises.

The goal is simple: surf as much as possible, choose the most suitable conditions for each level, and help every guest get the best possible surf experience during their stay.

Surfboards, surf sessions, and your daily surf plan

If you do not bring your own surfboard, you can rent a board with leash by the day or by the week. Ding insurance is available as an add-on and can help cover smaller board damages during surf sessions. Loss of a complete board, fins, leash, or other equipment is not covered.

Every day in Bali is different. Tide, swell, wind, crowds, and surf level all matter. That is why our local surf team checks the conditions and prepares suitable surf-session options for the next day.

You can then sign up for the session you would like to join according to your surf level. This gives you a real choice while keeping the surf plan realistic, safe, and based on the conditions of the day.

Maybe you stay close to the camp and surf around Canggu, Berawa, or Echo Beach. Maybe further up north or down south around Bukit (Uluwatu) or even east coast. The idea is simple: follow the ocean, choose the right session for your level, and surf with a small group and local guides who know the waves.

Before you paddle out, the guides give you a spot introduction and explain the conditions. Then it is time to surf, learn, improve, and enjoy Bali from the water.

Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced surfer, SurfWG welcomes you into the daily surf rhythm of the camp.

Video analysis is offered when scheduled as part of the weekly surf program.

Boardshorts, rash guards, wax, and booties are widely available in Bali.
